Decided to make a playthrough topic with a spoiler warning to discuss my impressions in detail.

Played a bit and got to the first loop.
Some things in the story seem a bit rushed, but so far no major complaints.

Your first cousin, once removed seemed suspicious. She reached to the loop more than the main character did.

Definitely some jank here and there. Sometimes you talk to a character and get teleported to a completely different place for seemingly no reason.

Anyway, beat the first boss and saved the girl Micchi. Looks like the next one to be possessed will be Machina.

So I was wrong, it was Max who ended up getting possessed, but it seems like he's Machina's father?
Anyway, the boss kicked my ass, so it's time for loop 2 baby!

So the possessions are randomized (which is good!) This time, Max was possessed first. However, I wasn't given the choice to save him, so I ended up killing him. Now, the otaku kid was possessed.

I'm unsure what determines whether or not you can save the characters as of yet, but so far so good.

I find it interesting how a lot of characters just call you by a completely different name.

Also, apparently half the characters are already possessed by a god or something?

Also, it seems not every character is able to fight with you. That makes their stats seem irrelevant? What would be the point of raising their strength, agility, etc. if they can't fight? Maybe only those possessed by a god can fight. Or maybe once you successfully save them from a kagai possession, they become able to fight.

So I fought the Kagai possessing Nanachi and won.
This time I was given the choice to save him. However, he's still unable to join me in combat, so that theory is busted.

My cousin Konoha stared stalking me, and during a conversation she asked if we were a couple. I wasn't given the option to say no, and I was already pretty close to Machina.

It seems a new possession has taken place. The clues I have are that it's a woman and she wants to stop her parents from fighting.

So the teacher Kuni got possessed.
I didn't talk much to her this loop...

Managed to save her.

I'll toss in a post here before I lay down so you got one person who made a comment here. So how repetitive is the dialog and how much progress can you make before say two loops? I think the location looks cool, but it does sound like while not an awful game, just misdirected in its execution and more cryptic than it needed to be.

Being on my second loop, it was repetitive at first before I got everyone back to where they where.
Day to day, they sometimes repeat stuff. Konoha is the worst offender so far, since you have to interact with her 5+ times before you can actually talk to her.
Basically, you can do minor interactions with the characters (Get to know better, flatter, tease, etc.), none of which have any real dialogue other than a reaction from the character (positive or negative), but they do raise their affection, friendship and hate between characters. After these hit a certain threshold, you do get more meaningful dialogue and character interaction.

My first loop I got killed by the second boss. Second one was way faster, my stats and relations are much better and I'm about to face the fourth boss,

It's certainly cryptic and requires some trial and error, but I also feel the reviewers did it dirty. One complained that battle was meaningless and he just skipped all of it, which is false. You do get permanent stat boosts for your party after each battle. At least until they have nearly all of the blessings.
Others complained that it was unclear how to proceed, which I don't agree with so far. The game throws you a decent amount of clues as to where the possessed will be and who they are. The only thing I'm not 100% on right now is how to save a character after possession, but I suspect it has to do with your relationship level with them.

Hard to recommend this game at the moment because it does require a fair bit of grinding, just not in the traditional sense. Also, since I've really only looped once, the fatigue and repetition hasn't settled in.
Definitely check it out if you see it on sale and the concept sound interesting at all.

I've been talking with her a fair bit and we have a good rapport, so let's see how it goes

So yeah, she creamed me.
The boss has a debuff that gradually decreases your defense, as well as an attack debuff that she refreshes as soon as it wears off.
This effectively turns the fight into a dps race, which wouldn't be so bad except my party members just keep buffing.

Gonna see if any of the other party members have heals or cleanses or something.

Yeah that's right I read it had auto combat for your party which tbh was kinda cool in Persona 3 at times, but when given the option of manual control that's always better.

I'll probably update less often now that I started a new loop. Kuni was the first to be possessed this time (I think, unless specific Kagai can possess different people).

My working theory is that those you can recruit for battle can't be possessed, and Konoha can't either because Terasu said she was possessed by a god as a child.
In fact, Konoha and Ichika might be sisters or something.

EDIT: Ok. so since I couldn't quite remember her name I checked the official page and discovered that Terasu is Nini's grandmother. She used to live with Konoha and since time apparently flows differently in space, Nini aged more rapidly.

Saving the first person seems the hardest since you're not given much time to interact with them.
