CP2077 is truly the one and only true next-gen game I've legit ever seen... It's such a pity had a rough start with its Xbone/PS4 ports because today, the game truly 100% shines in next-gen and PC. CDPR never should have even released their game on Xbone/PS4

This is literally the first ever video game history where you can walk around an enormous bustling city in first person perspective (GTA V comes close but the city was still surface-level) and CDPR isnt getting enough credit for this revolution. Here in CP2077, I could walk into so many building interiors, all of which has incredible HD textures even... walk on the streets filled to the brim with people and each NPC always had something unique to say. It's also insane I've been seeing so many minor pedestrian NPCs just interacting with each other in diff ways.

This is like GTA but on lots of steroids. This is like a Bethesda game if Bethesda actually bothered upgrading to the amt. of employees CDPR has.
No loading screen at all, a city 1000x bigger and more realistic and incredibly varied NPCs. And let's not get into the absolutely insanely immersive storytelling of the main story. The characters all have incredible weight and personalities to them. Not once in the entire game... do you ever get pulled out of first person view. Every cutscene, every interaction, everything you do is in first person. The only thing unimmersive I found was that you can pick up multiple guns on your character without wearing a backpack.

But apart from that, goddamn this game is great... The only other game closest to immersion I've ever come to was Rockstar's RDR2

I'm also using mods that require me to eat/drink/sleep to survive and take the metro station.

Needless to say, I legit feel like I'm living in the world of Night City. The world is utterly incredible and drawn to scale. Then I went out to the countryside and got blown away even more. How the hell did CDPR accomplish such a magnificent technological feat? Like honestly, it feels like CP2077 is waaaay ahead of its time.

I loved it, played and beat it a few months ago. Looks great, plays great. My only complaint is a complaint with most RPGs, too much bullshit on the map to do.

But yeah, it's a great game and it's a damn shame the horrid launch it had.

It really is great, and very immersive, however the game gets really stale at the end. You run out of things to do and you can't just go gta on everyone with your crazy powers because the cops will wreck your shit immediately

So you have to go sort through the little things and side missions just to play

I need to get it on pc for the mods

That's actually the most impressive thing of all.... even practically almost all the side missions I've seen are all unique ones. There's almost no infinite/radiant quests unlike other open world games. CDPR really gave their 100% in this game. Seriously. It's insane...

The cyberpsychos... the theft missions... the assassinations.... all are unique and hand-crafted to so much uniqueness.

I like that. It's meant to be realistic. You arent meant to be some walking apache tank machine in some arcade scenario like you can be in GTA.

There arent many mods per se compared to Bethesda games but enough mods to improve QoL a hell lot in making the game immersive. All I have are HD textures, the awesome metro mod, the pocket radio mod, the survival mod, flashlight mod and the mods allowing you to see V eat/drink stuff.

great game.

I really enjoyed the main story, and was surprised to find that there were some really well-written side-missions, too.

I also think the main characters are well-done, too.

It's dog shit.

Even on PC with an RTX 3080 and no major issues, it's still a painfully average open world game.

Its good, considering what happened. It has some problems regardless of the launch but a sequel should easily be able to deal with them.

Like more varied side things to do, more music on the radio, more fashion options, etc. etc.

Just can't believe I had P5 Makoto have Neo in her head lol.

What the hell are you smoking, dude? Did you even play the game fully, or just quitted after 1-2 hours into the prologue??

I've never once encountered a single bug whatsoever in my entire playthrough so far. Are you playing on PS4/Xbone?
