I only had to cheat a few times <_<

Mostly just because it was a situation where I'd figured out the solution and fucked up the execution. The last one being that I tried the Ash Twins warp tower, but the sand threw me out and I didn't think to try again. I don't know why I was expecting a happy ending even after I learned the universe was dying, I just naturally assumed that entering the Eye would reverse entropy. Of course "let there be light" is the natural ending.

I didn't get the Archaeologist achievement for completing the ship logs, but as I sit here typing this, I realized I only made a passing attempt to land on Hollow's Lantern. And there are twenty-four other hidden achievements, but they all sound like a bit of faff except the Self ending which sounds kinda neat.

All else aside, the Hearthians are kind of terrible explorers. Even without the time loop and translator, you could very easily find full bodies of Nomai they could have brought back to Timber Hearth.

I was wondering how your playthrough was going.

Yeah I find with these games some of the solutions escape you for ages because you accidentally mess up the correct method and assume its not the solution.

I struggled getting into the Tower of Quantum Knowledge because I tried everything getting in and never realised it also got sucked through. I kept just going to the teleporter

Amazing game but I wish it had better controls

I was actually quite pleased about the Tower because that's one I did figure out for myself, though it took watching it fall into the black hole to do so.

I got used to the controls honestly. I think the issue is that it's actually just realistic space flight. Once I really got it into my head that moving forward in space means you're just constantly accelerating and are just going to completely obliterate yourself, I got much better.

I'm browsing the subreddit and stuff now and it's only now that I learn there's a specific song the game plays when the sun is about to explode.

I'm so observant, I should have been a cop.

It's weird how much it freaked me out considering there's no combat and death is the central core of the game.

I already bought it, I just have to play it.

I've been watching a couple LPs of it and it's kind of wild how out of order it can go. The Quantum Moon, the Ash Twin Project, and Giant's Deep's core were the last things I did. They're some of the first things these other guys did.

Thinking about it, the protagonist is kind of a dumdum. You find plenty of Nomai statues, surely you could have gotten one of the other dudes to join in.
