A lot of the games I like, I've played a bunch of times so in-jokes and constant re-interpretation of things are a big part of what keeps them alive.
I also think the more you like something the more relentlessly you'll make fun of it. There's a kind of mockery where as a side effect, you end up demonstrating how invested you are or were at some point. I like that.

I go easy on games if they provide a lot of entertainment despite being of low quality. Sure a solid Mario platformer is fun once in a while but as far as consistent entertainment over a long period of time goes, there's no way for another Mario game to compete with Hotel Mario.

I don't know if stuff like this is a big part of video games for other people. Is it?

Playing The Stick of Truth for the first time was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life. I laughed my ass off all the way through.

None. I have never played a bad game. A game I didn't like sure, but the game was designed well enough. I don't really laugh. I find it hard to be amused.

The fails and sabotages in Transformice and Halo customs usually make me laugh.

Not often but usually when ridiculous glitches happen.

Also I want to highlight the word often.
Whether they make you laugh deliberately or at their own expense, I am interested in how consistently games pull this off.

only a few games could do it well or tried focusing on it, breaking the 4th wall is amusing but not that funny

This is something I think about.
At some point people eased up on glitches for the same reason. Because they became entertaining and easy to share online.
Sure they're more likely to be dumb cosmetic errors that doesn't really impede the gameplay now but I still wonder how much we helped dig ourselves into this era of broken releases by receiving glitches so positively.

I think it's a shame if a game being non-functional is the most reliable way for it to get a laugh. That or maybe what you're playing is humorless by design.

I'm totally over 4th wall breaks. Meta shit too. It's boring.
I'd still take small ones like in Jak 3 where someone says "This isn't a game!" and they both glance at the camera. Deadpool in UMVC3 at most.

Constantly ripping the 4th wall apart loses me pretty fast.
It ages terribly too since it becomes predictable fast. Character comments on how tedious a game trope is. Character speaks in video game terms. And so on.
Gives me little to work with.

To be fair I also laugh at how rude Zelda NPCs tend to be. Those games usually have something funny in them to laugh at.
