I saw the aftermath of this in-person on the way in to work due to the parking situation I posted about earlier today; in fact, I was heading towards the area when I heard and saw all the emergency vehicles speeding in that direction, and I was only able to see it because I walked in from the opposite direction I usually do. When I got closer to the site, I saw what did look like a body, under the bus covered with a sheet and it looked like the victim's head had been run over.

People in the comments in the above link are saying that the same driver responsible for this crash was also involved in another fatal crash while driving a DDOT bus in 2015, and that they had been "retrained" in the aftermath. Guess the driver didn't learn anything from that, and they absolutely need to be out from behind any wheel for good.

RIP to the victim.
