The cheapest baseball hats you can imagine.

Complete with elastic that leaves a rash EVERY TIME, and a severely oversized cardboard brim.

I'm looking forward to seeing that one but I also want to rewatch Friday the 13th Part 7 cause like half the cast in the movie was played by openly gay actors when the hunky male lead

I wish those in the LGBTQ community the best of Pride month. The bigots have been active much more this year.

Oh that's pretty cool, I didn't know that. I don't know if I've actually seen that Friday, there's so many and I wasn't hooked on the series like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street.

Oh, you should add Nightmare, 2 especially I known for being very homoerotic and having rather overt gay themes.

Yeah, I was listening to Michaelangelo Signorile, a well-known gay political activist, writer, and host along with Noah Michelson, a gay man who works for HuffPo, talk about how many things that companies would do during Pride month they used to find cheesy or cringey are seen in a different light to them now because of all the targeted hatred and companies folding on even their capitalistic support for the LGBTQ community when like Target they've been solid on it for the last 10 years. Without saying this in any sort of negative way, I imagine it feels a lot better to be pandered to and roll your eyes at the insincerity than feel like the ones who used to pander for your money are now throwing you away because of a small display from religious fascist and/or terrorists. It shows how easily these companies will cave in to the fascists' demands

part 7 is the first time kane hodder took the role of jason and he played the character the most
it also had the iconic sleeping bag kill

and yeah the characters played by gay actors were
tina's love interest nick
tina's mother
the token black man in the cast
the nerdy guy
and the stoner guy

and nightmare on elm street part 2 had a gay actor play the main character and is extremely homoerotic
but its also one of the dullest horror movies ive ever seen
there are about 10 minutes in total of that film that are worth watching but i appreciate that it tried something new.

also if you take the main characters struggle as a metaphor for homosexuality then the ending becomes rather offensive as lisa saved him with heterosexuality as its a kiss from her that frees him from freddys grasp

not event he first time friday the 13th hired a gay actor
the guy in the wheel chair in the 2nd film was played by a gay actor who tragically lost his life to HIV

thats a big reason horror is so popular with LGBT people
horror was one place where gay people could actually find work in hollywood in the 80s

not to say it was perfect like one friday the 13th actor said a producer once blew white powder in his face to keep him awake for late night filming
and the final girl in part 2 had to do a lot of her own stunt work without getting stuntman pay

Hmm, never thought about that. I guess because almost every who survives a Nightmare movie dies in the next one or the one after that you could say she didn't save him at all.
