Nuclear family stuff. I had trouble seeing any positive things . I wasn't necessarily happy in 2015 but I had this whole laugh at the world mindset and not take anything seriously and be truly care free. Then George Floyd was murdered, I saw an insane amount of brutality by the police, and I saw the president violate the first amendment right to peaceably assemble by tear gassing a group of peaceful protesters so he could walk to a church and do a stupid photo op with a fucking Bible. Then Ruth Bader Ginsburg died and Trump got to pick a third Supreme Court Justice. Then the election happened and we weren't certain who won for days. Then I found out that Trump somehow won people over with his disastrous administration and got 11 million more votes than he did the first time. Then the Republicans became the biggest sore losers in the history of mankind and absolutely refused to acknowledge that Trump lost. Then a group of braindead fucking morons did a motherfucking insurrection and tried to make a loser stay president. Then the Republicans decided that making the lives of LGBT people (especially transgender people) as miserable as possible was their top objective. Then Russia invaded Ukraine with lies to justify it and started a war that feels like it's slowly spiraling out of control into World War III.
