DeSatan sounds petty and childish. DeathSantis, while it doesn't have the same ring to it, is a firm reminder that the man brings death. We don't just despise him because of petty political lines -- the man is a legit threat who has cost thousands of lives and could potentially cost millions if given power. Everyone who feels strongly about politics thinks that people on the other side of the fence are the devil.
