More than likely not, but it's not too hard to find a dentist or orthodontist that will give you a discount as you're trusted more as an adult to consistently keep the retainers in compared to a little kid.

They are less painful than braces, you can take them out in order to eat, and still be able to keep the same level of dental care without having to work around metal. They're usually around 3 to 6 grand depending on how bad your teeth are.

Depending on your situation you will get a pair of retainers you will wear from anywhere 5 to 2 weeks, then you open the next numbered package and put in another retainer for the same specified amount of time that move your teeth a little bit more, so on and so forth until you finish all the trays.

Yes, insurance can cover it. At least mine did here in California. I only spent $400 after my insurance from work and relative was covered.
