Maybe I'm just a hater but I can't stand when they stall indefinitely like this to meet an incentive.

Nah I agree too. I don't mind incentives but I'm not a big fan of bonus games as a concept with GDQ. The amount of bonus games that haven't been met is probably like 1 or 2 in 10 years, if any.

Yeah, I'm sitting in here and not the biggest fan of it either.

It's hard because obviously this dude spent an outrageous amount of time to learn how to do this game blindfolded for this event. Which frankly means this shouldn't even be an incentive in the first place.

It just sucks because this is already ending soooo late to begin with.

I don't recall. I don't think they said but I was very tired at the time so my memory is hazy.

I tried very hard to stay up but I fell asleep during that kaizo mario thing, woke up at the end, saw the time, and nope'd the hell to bed.

Not sure why this one ran so late.

part of it was stalling for like an hour to get the 2mil

most of it comes from adding like 4 hours of runs? when the schedule first came out it was set to end somewhere between midnight and 1am as is usual and then the schedule right before it started was set to end at 4. not sure what all they added though. only change i really noticed was banjo moving from saturday at 3am to monday at 3am

I remember them switching around Mario 64 to a day later for some reason.

And then there was another run that was pushed back to later I was interested in that I can't remember, but it was way too late for me.

I also tried very hard to stay up but fell asleep during the BotW run. But I woke up during Baron of Shell so I caught Fly Me to the Stars which was bonkers. Love it when a speedrun is just "I can beat this in 30 deaths instead of 6500 deaths"
