I was in 10th grade at that time making zero dollars an hour when Star Wars finally "ended".

I was 15. I was probably the perfect age for the PT. I was 9 when TPM came out and 12 when AOTC was released. Despite them being...not good there's still the few rare moments of greatness, most of them in ROTS and most of them involving Palpatine. The opening shot of the 2 Jedi fighters swooping down into the action is still awesome and the ending still gets me a bit emotional. I teared up when I first saw it. The snippets of the SW theme and the force theme and Owen, Beru, and baby Luke looking at the twin suns setting...It's a damn shame the movies weren't as good as that.

And damn I feel old.

It was a huge step up from the previous snoozefest so that opening space battle sequence right out of the gate was a good head start until the end.

The main series should've just stopped as originally intended and for all intents and purposes, it still did ever since the old Fox bluray release

I was 11 years old.

It was one of the first movies I remember being old enough to follow the development of and get hyped for.

It didn't disappoint. I thought it rocked back then and I think it rocks now.
