I scraped them after they cool off and basically nothing was getting removed, like it was all caked on.

Do you heat it up then clean it? With the steel scraper thing?

Careful using a wire brush. Heard stories of the bristles coming off, getting into the food, and those end up impaling themselves in your mouth when you take a bite

Everything cleans easier when it's hot. When I cook eggs or bacon in a frying pan, I go right from the stove to the sink and scrub it immediately. Cleans in no time.
