I can't imagine doing remote FT. I'd get distracted and bored. I also like talking to people and there are things/problems that can be done much faster face to face vs virtual meetings. --- Less is more. Hybrid is a valid choice, but there's nothing in your role that requires you being on-site. Maybe they're justifying the rent.
