I cant believe anyone says California.
I can't believe a poster with right leaning tendencies would think so.

With the same talking points too!

Not that we don't have problems mind you. But which state doesn't?

Place is not more expensive because it's a shit place to live. As that would make too much sense.

Like people don't start off in Florida, and retire there... yeah? Unless you're already doing fine, you'd be much of worse in Florida. Opportunity wise.

Way to bring your knee jerk brand of toxicity from 261. Attacking people instead of their arguments. Exactly why CE is trying to weed out people like you.

California is UNBELIEVABLY expensive. And soooo congested. I didnt say woke. I prefer its laws to Floridas.

You're using California being expensive as a reason not to live there in a topic asking where you'd live if money was no issue?

Weird, but okay.

I cant believe anyone says California. Its so damn expensive to live in. Homes in cities start at a half million. The southern part of the state is lately getting too hot, its incredibly populous and impossible to drive around in. The Bay Area is wholly unaffordable even for households making 3x national media. and even more congested. Homeless problem is bad across the state.
The topic says if you had all the money in the world. Parts of California have the best weather in the country, the world even. It's almost a no brainer.

I probably didnt read that part, lol.

But Ive lived in SoCal and Bay Area. Its crazy crowded and I still have PTSD when I have to go anywhere during the day.

The weather was a legit draw, but SoCal (I have relatives) has become a burner lately so I wouldnt want to be there. I dont know how Washington, or Utah/Colorado, or NOVA arent more appealing than friggin CA.

I'd choose California. I like exotic/classic cars so I want to be around alot of others who are driving expensive cars. Plus there are plenty of mechanics around SoCal that specialize in exotics.

The Carolinas, Montana or just stay in Texas. Florida and California are definite No's for me, though, the others on the list I could probably tolerate.

out of this list California, but honestly the best choice is Nevada. Las Vegas is a 24/7 city which would be the perfect place to live with all the money in the world. Always something to do.

Better list:

California
New York
Texas
Florida
Colorado
North Carolina
Hawaii
Alaska
Washington
Virginia

These 10 have a wider variety of draws. I'd go with California. I haven't been there yet but it just has such a diverse geography, you can do anything. Don't like the traffic? Take a helicopter.

Man lots of people ignoring North Carolina as an objectively great state. I get it if you're not outdoorsy, but fuck North Carolina is gorgeous to exist in.

As someone living in NC, the Republicans are trying really hard to ruin the state.

Basing where you'll live based off of politics is pretty stupid and vividly shows that you're just a bunch of poors.

If you had all the money, move where ever you want because you'll be the politics and rule the poors

If I had all the money in the world, I would buy some oil derricks, a few tons of dirt and build myself an island. A heavily armed island.

From this terrible list, I'd probably go with North Carolina. A centralised location allowing for not unreasonable travel time to New York, Atlanta and other points of interest.

This is pretty true lol

If you have all the money in the world, politics don't matter anymore. The political strata surrounding you isn't democrat and republican, it's rich and richer. You might move somewhere and ditch the maga head idiots, but you're probably just trading them in for a richer, more nefarious model.
