Thought I might give it a second chance but it might be one of the most soulless games I've ever played

The pacing, the characters, the story, the missions, the puzzles all of it runs between boring to irritating.

It's odd that all of the aforementioned came together in Rise but here this one is so utterly charmless

Sam and Lara never hooked up so I passed after 2013

I just got to a puzzle with a big aqueduct around a third of the way in, (slightly further than when I dropped it years ago funnily enough) and I just have to put it down.

The game feels like a chore

Lol I got it off ps plus and tried the opening but this game just seemed like an utterly humorless uncharted without any of the wit and enjoyment of that series. It's my only tr game so if the rest are essentially like that...

I remember starting it when it came out and just did not care for it. That was even after marathoning the two previous games

They definitely borrowed a lot from Uncharted but the the other two games had an air of desperation about them (stranded an island and the other in Siberia) to make up for the lack of humour.

This game just has a flat tone throughout and doesn't do the others justice

I would've figured a new Tomb Raider would've came out by now.

Never finished it either. I thought the 2013 one was great, but the two sequels fell flat.

I thought it was alright but I just kinda finished it to finish the trilogy. Having to switch outfits all the time is annoying and why I never finished far cry 6
