Anyone play the games in this series here? I just found out it existed a few days ago, from what I can tell it looks like a mix of Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic

I have 3 but only played it a little bit. I still keep it on my backlog cause I intend to return to it

It's definitely a mix between the two. it was fun and I liked how every faction had its own thing going on (unlike civ)

I played the original game. Yea it's most like Heroes of Might and Magic I'd say. I don't know what the modern games are like. But 4 does sound interesting with its customization

i've been waiting a bit to grab 4 since it looks like it would scratch a very particular itch but the detailed reviews (both positive and negative) aren't really selling me on it. I didn't play 3 but played 2 a bunch a while back and loved it. This doesn't quite look like the same

Yeah, I watched the Yogscast play this a while ago, and it looks incredibly fun. Probably too fun for me to safely spend money on because then I wouldn't be doing anything else lol
