Not sure if I will like it more than Dark Souls but it keeps my attention more than Dragon's Dogma, which is also a good game but I didn't get far.

What is the best stone thing to use at the start? I picked warrior for one handed and smithing

You can join every guide. You can't really mess up anything in the game.
Stone is fine

There's a stone near Markarth that increases all skill gains by 15%

As soon as you get the full FusRoDah, make sure to shout Lydia off of The Throat of the World.

I'm gonna go to Whiterun first to get the horse. My character is too slow

I actually know what FusRoDah is, back in 2011 my friend thought that would be the most important thing to show me about this game

Actually for maximum enjoyment, you want to avoid the main quest. Don't wake the dragons.

As long as you have 1k gold to buy one.

While you're in Riften, I'd suggest finding the dark elf priestess at the temple for the book of love quest. It gives you a 15% resistance to magic as armor does nothing against magic.

It's a good game but it's hard to replay after you've already seen everything once. I guess that's what mods are for but I always prefer to play games how they're "meant" to be experienced, since mods usually just add a bunch of overpowered stuff that unbalances the game.

Get some mods. A few I'd say are must have:
Skyrim Unofficial Patch
Skyrim Script extender(tool for other mods to use
SkyUI (better interface)
A Better Map
Parallax or Realistic Overall (graphics)
Inigo (adds a really great follower in Riften)

That just lets you know your steeling. Sneak and watch the eye icon to see if you're detected. As for theif/warrior stealth archer with daggers is widely considered the best build

No race is OP, the bonus don't actually do too much. Just pick which ever looks or sounds the coolest.

Daggers are only good for melee assassinations since they are the only weapon class that is totally silent when used. Getting 15x or 30x the damage via perks and equipment helps them stay relevant for assassination.

In open combat they suck since they cannot stagger enemies and don't benefit from Fortify One-Handed the way other weapons do. So it helps to keep a light sword on hand if you find yourself stuck in melee.

Yeah, I did for a bit, but you can pretty quickly use your bow almost exclusively.

Careful with that, you can get yourself to a point where all your skills are mid. 3-4 main skills, then 1-2 support crafting is typical. You can just turn the difficulty down and play however you want, though.

Yeah, that's solid. I might scrap smithing or lock picking for restoration or conjugation, but agian, solid build.

Black Star is a reusable Black Soul Gem.

White Star means you're "stuck" hunting Mammoths for Grand Souls(found around Whiterun and The Pale), but get access to a decent mage follower.

Most will tell you to get the Black Star, since it is the better gameplay benefit.

There is a alternate branch to the dark brotherhood. While cool that it can be done its rather disappointing as it turns an entire quest line into like one quest.

Spoilers I guess

You can choose to report them then get a quest to kill them all.

I'd recommend doing it just to expierence it. But save before then reload. As said it's like one quest and it won't take long.

also, i fucked up. i had some creation club content installed and ended up using it, but i didn't want to use any creation club stuff. i figured it wouldn't have come already installed -_-

edit: i got a huge ass house and i all i had to do was kill one person in a duel <_<

Ah, yeah, CC stuff is all over the place. Some you trigger through reading notes at taverns, jails, or guard barracks... But others will send couriers after you to trigger events.

The Black Star has slightly less value if you use Soul Stealer Arrows. They no longer instantly kill any vulnerable NPC regardless of health, but can still be a source of semi-free Black Soul Gems.
