Let me guess, the plot will be about a stoic martial artist moving into a new town who then has to defeat a series of local Masters so that he can establish his own school in the area before ultimately those Masters get beat by an oppressive foreign power that the main character has to then take on in a one-on-one fight to restore the dignity of the Chinese people and emphasize the importance of a strong central government?

The final boss wasn't a foreigner. In fact it was a Chinese student sibling using the very same Wing Chun fighting style as Ip Man Very different from the rest of the series where the final boss is an evil ruthless foreigner using a different martial arts style.
