...are you friends with a lot of pro life people?

I know some pro life people. And most people aren't particularly consistent with it. I consider these people "anti-abortion" more than anything else.

Nope, I dont exclude people for their beliefs, but none of the people I align myself with are for that

yeah i agree. that's why i put "pro life" in quotation marks, aren't particularly consistent with it

I lived in the south for 3 years, most people were pro-life and they generally are silent about it, but they drop subtle hints like, they'll drop "god" into the conversation.

Come to think of it I dont think Ive ever discussed the topic with my family

I do confess that on my youth (15 years ago) I was anti-abortion. Thats what happens when you listen and accept without thinking.

I also erroneously self-identified as a conservative because I support civilian gun ownership (with sensible regulations and restrictions).

Basically I was a complete idiot.

Pro-birth is the more accurate term when you account for the entire context.

A few older family members

Yeah, but most of the ones who are pro-life are ones that actually care about the human life that they are willing to do charitable things like pay for a baby sitter for the single mom while she goes to school or work and absolutely would vote for social services to increase the quality of life for the baby to grow up healthy. I try to not align myself with those who are pro-life in bad faith like to "punish" women.

Not anymore no. One of my best friends back in high school was heavily pro-life. Her family was very religious (not conservatives though) and very strict, so it made sense. I haven't talked to her in over 10 years.

Probably a lot of people I interact with on a regular basis just going off where I live but it never comes up so I don't know.

Not entirely sure, the abortion debate is probably the last thing on our minds when my friends and I are out

i feel like no one i know is pro-life

not sure if anyone i know is pro life in the way that they think abortions should be outlawed. but i know people that would never get an abortion themselves.

I work for a Catholic hospital.

My mom is somewhat on the pro life view. Not to the extreme of some people, since she believes in some exceptions (which makes sense because she had to get an abortion the first time she was pregnant, because her life was at risk)

But when I was over for mothers day the news was talking about abortion, and she said she still believes it is "baby murder" but she does not bring it up much because she absolutely hates everything else Republicans stand for
