DC villains are so much more interesting than MCU ones.

To be fair, the MCU has sucked at villains because of the way they use them, not because there arent any good ones in Marvel.

Batman and Spider-Man have always had the best villains.

Doom should be the next MCU big bad.
If they could do Magneto that would be a good option, especially if they wanted to lean in heavily on sympathetic villains. (Which clearly they have with the BP villains.)

The problem with DC is they want what the MCU has, but without any of the buildup required. They did Justice League after only two of the characters in the movie even had their own movie.

DC has a way better universe than Marvel, in my opinion. The Justice League is infinitely more interesting to me than the Avengers (in their most recognized line-ups, anyway), and the villains in DC are VASTLY superior to the MCU. The only truly great villains in Marvel are like...Magneto, Doom, and Thanos. And Galactus, if he's even really considered a villain.

I just want more man of steel zod vs superman level fights. Like that the only live action supe hero fight that felt powerful to me. Want to see that on a bigger scale tho with characters destroying planets and stars with aftershock of their punches. That would be amazing!!!

Arguably one reason for the MCU is they shifted focus away from the villains and focused on having more developed and likeable heroes. That way these characters can keep even casual audiences invested for multiple films.

The new DCu will start off competing with avengers movies and xmen starting

It they could just do a better job across the board on everything those movies would be really good tbh

Tbf, that's only because The Avengers are mostly made up of characters that aren't from Marvel's Big 2 franchises (Spider-Man and X-Men), whereas the Justice League is composed of all of DC's most popular characters.

And this is definitely not true.

It's actually impressive how utterly fucked the DCEU is/was at developing a coherent universe. I'm a DC fan more than a marvel fan (because of the DCAU) so I was cheering for it all along but just constantly disappointed at the DCEU's missteps and how there's more bad movies than there are watchable ones. Let alone good ones.

It seems like it's more and more in vogue to talk shit on the MCU now but it puts into perspective how difficult it was for MCU to build what it built. MCU's mids are far higher than DCEU's mids.

Spider-Man's rogue gallery is more interesting than Batman's imo. MCU is just bad at making compelling villains. They fumbled Green Goblin so bad.
