I'm thinking about getting one, but a little overwhelmed by all the options. I love biking, but never tried it with a motor before.

it's game changing. You know when you're biking and there's a slight downhill slope and you just glide and life is great? You maybe pedal once or twice and just groove? Well, with the e-bike every where feels like that, even going up hills.

Yeah I'm in decent shape, but I live on a hill in mountainous rural hell and it can be hard to find the motivation to get out and about. I feel like I would ride way more on an ebike.

Ebikes are rad. Biggest thing I would tell someone to research and/or try before buying is a mid-drive vs. a hub motor. Makes a big difference in how the bike rides. Also don't settle for a bike without a throttle unless it's illegal where you plan to ride it.

If you can wait some, there's usually a summer sales event.

Most, if not all Ebikes are Chinese.

American stores order the parts from there and then add on some ugly paint along with their company logos.

Best just to order wholesale and cut out the middle man.

Shipping may take a good month or two though.
