I'd say one of the main reasons Rouge is considered a freebie for non-furries to like is because she's one of the very few "furry" characters that's been generally accepted to lack body fur, unlike pretty much all other furry characters ever, including all the other non-human Sonic characters, who all clearly show patches of fur or are completely covered in fur. --- Kill the legs first, that's an ironclad battle tactic! ...
