Its a very odd story but some guy in another dimension somehow impregnated Carol with himself so he can be born on earth and escape his dimension he's trapped in. She gives birth after like 3 days of pregnancy and doesn't understand what's happening. Then he grows rapidly to a man and then manipulates his "mother" to live with him as a lover I think.

During this whole time, the Avengers are giddy and gushing over the baby and then the "romance "

I think later it's revealed that Carol was being mind controlled, but the Avengersnever try to stop what's happening. Its one of the most bizarre marvel stories ever and it would never happen today

I used to know where there was a different site that had a bunch of images from 5hus comic arc. I'm not sure if the site still exists

"it would never happen today" ehh... I dunno about that. If it somehow could be used to further prevent MJ and Peter from getting together Marvel would totally do a story like that today.
