Tipping 15% on the bill excluding tax used to be perfectly acceptable. Now sometimes the default options start at 20% and thats including the tax

Since tip is a %, it should theoretically rise with the inflation already

Then support a min wage for food servers. They are paid below min wage.

Tipping culture in general has completely gotten out of hand. It used to be a way to provide instant feedback on the quality of hospitality you've received, now people act like you owe them a tip or else

Stop spending money at any place that insists on a tip.

Because the restaurant wants you to pay the staff instead of them paying staff better wages.
