Pokmon go was better when different locations had different Pokmon. Since a year or two after launch it's always whatever the event them is everywhere. We used to go to different parts of the city or different parks just to catch something you'd never see elsewhere and it was cool doing the exploring. The events just made it tedious, like I had to play every day lest you miss an event, and it made no difference if I did the same block around my house every single time because the same Pokmon were ever.
