The situation with my dad offering me a place has turned out to be really complicated

he pays the bills but its in the name of his kinda stepdaughter(her ex is his stepson, he is now in prison), I spoke to her for the first time today on the phone and she was nice but she also seems uncomfortable with me coming to live there and I dont blame her since Im a stranger and she is raising two young kids in the home

my dad really only visits there a few times a week when he isnt on the road trucking

so now I have no idea what to do and Im out of time to decide, I cant stay in the Phoenix area if Im living outta my car

i might just drive to the coast

Might be unformfortabal just do it and work on finding a way out asap. You'll be able to better do that with a roof over your head.

I didnr like moving in with my mom and her new husband and his families house but it was better than homeless.

Hmm, that is pretty tricky. Living with people can be really hard. If she is not flat out refusing, I would at least give it a try? Try to be as helpful/unintrusive as possible. It seems like maybe you don't have an income? Can you apply for benefits in your area? You can tell her you're going to do that, which might ease her discomfort some.

If you don't have a choice, you don't have a choice. Do what you need to do to stay safe. Try your best to be friendly and unobtrusive, and work immediately to figure out relationship structures and boundaries. The lease is in her name, but your father pays for everything (including the equivalent of rent I assume)? The relationship between your dad and this woman is that her ex is his stepson and a convict? Something about this all feels off to me, but unless a threat or another opportunity presents itself, you don't seem to have much of a choice.
