I live in a blue state, but a teacher would get in trouble in my town for showing that film because 5th graders were not allowed to watch PG rated stuff in class, only G. They can watch PG starting in 6th grade. PG-13 in 8th. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yea I was genuinely confused when they were bringing up very niche / hidden stuff in Disney films that was from... awhile ago and has since been edited out of any streaming or new releases of said media. Also the whole point of the Pinocchio scene with the "bad boys" is to basically frighten kids into not doing those things... Yea it looks really cool until you get turned into a donkey and you're screaming for your mother. Just because social media is pervasive doesnt mean the parents lose their rights concerning what goes on in public schools. Where did she say anything about "social media"?
