I was raised with 3 sisters in a Jehovah Witness home and I think my mom hit my oldest sister a few times but stopped after that. By the time it got to me 5 years later, I couldn't picture her ever hitting anyone. My dad never hit anyone from my knowledge and my family is really talkative and open. Tbf, we only half assed went to meetings and then stopped. But my mom still stands by the religion. My mom is my hero and is the reason I don't judge anyone and always attempt to show understanding and compassion.
