People aren't stupid enough to fall for that. Your average person knows that skin color doesn't determine who is a friend or an enemy. Bigots need to learn that their hatred isn't something the public will ever be willing to fight and die for.

The closest we could ever come to that is if we had an antiracist war, a second American Civil War. Bigots and their bootlickers on one side, antiracists on the other. There won't be any Black vs White conflict, now or ever.

The dude was 21 and already had a Pentagon job? He must have been very connected.

Also, the fact that someone as unhinged as him had a Pentagon job is very concerning...

I don't think he did. He was in the Air Force or something, but his job there was able to give him access to Pentagon documents (which he really shouldn't have according to the feds.)

Have you ever read The Turner Diaries, written by neo-Nazi William L. Pierce under the pen name "Andrew MacDonald"? It's terrifying. In Pierce's mindscape, most of white America has become too deracinated and rotted by liberalism to support the white nationalist revolution and so needs to be punished and purged. Pierce's fictional white nationalist revolutionaries are under no illusions about being able to win public support and they don't even try: their sole approach is terror, and lots of it.

The military and pentagon seem to be full of these types.

They are. The FBI said that white supremacists infiltrated the military and law enforcement. Hell here in the Bay Area, one city just caught some of them passing racist messages and texts to each other.

For a second I misread that as "Pentagon leader"..
