I would imagine when you're like a politician and need to network and such, Golf is an easy way to interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that isn't distracting enough that the conversation leaves the "important" topics you want to go into, but also distracting enough it never feels like you have nothing to talk about. Same idea as like, a football/baseball game. It isn't interesting enough to require your complete focus, but it is interesting enough to keep you and your friends drinking and having fun off of it. ... Copied to Clipboard!
