I'm literally on the last chapter, having a blast, and then all of a sudden, I gotta navigate the internet with all this random ice blocking my path. In order to dispel ice of certain colors, it requires me going back and forth through various long areas. I got the red fragment, now I'm trying to get the yellow fragment, which has me going through a shit ton of areas, going to Undernet Square, grinding up 10k Zenny to buy info, go to where the info told me to go, WHOOPS! He left and is "somewhere nearby", go searching around to finally find him, he wants some bullshit chip that literally requires me to find a specific random encounter AND have a good opening chipset to S rank it AND hopefully get the drop if it suceeds.

And I still need to find 2 more color fragments which probably is gonna be full of the same tedious bullshit! Why the FUCK would they put something like this at the end and screech the flow to a grinding halt? This is basically ruining the game for me right now.

Now I gotta trek back to the Undernet, talk to the doctor who needs the heatdata, go to the camp and talk to a program in the BBQ, then go to Yumland and save a program, then go back to the BBQ to get heat data, then back to undernet to get the Yellow Cure.

Then I still have 2 more colors to get >_>

I'm on the ice portion of 1 and it killed my playthrough dead.

I finally paid attention to her dialogue in the Legacy Collection instead of holding B.

And she has some one-liners that are very, and there's no other way to say it, rapey to Lan.

She literally gets off on Netbattling a kid. >_>

Freezeman is fine. It's fun figuring out where to go with very few hints. Nothing is bad compared to the electric company scenario in the first game.

Her navi is pretty cool tho. Most of the navis in BN2 had a gimmick that you had to learn to play around, but there was usually more than one way to do it so it felt rewarding to develop a strategy that worked.

Snake Man hiding could be countered by quick reflexes and fast-acting chips like zapring or heatshot, or you could throw a bomb/geyser and move to a side panel so he'd reappear as it hit, or you could tank his machine gun attack and hit him with a powerful attach.

Of course, for every legitimate strategy for taking out a boss navi in BN2, there was a cheese strat that went right along with it. Gater spam, gutsshoot, varsword/treebomb + prism.

It's a shame he comes after thunderman and nor before, cuz having a wood navi chip would have made that fight so much easier for first-timers.

Snake Man gave me a lot of trouble...
