It really is...and it really is. His work gave the games a certain vibe or feeling and the scores in the new games just seem generic. Sometimes when I'm playing Hitman 3 I'll have the soundtrack to Contracts or Blood Money going in the background.

There are other HM games better than Contracts, but it had the best atmosphere. I love the dark and grittiness and how you explore the grungy underbelly of organized crime, terrorist groups, and other sinister people. The new trilogy is great, but it's missing a couple of things like Kyd's music and the darker tone.

And Winter Night is my favorite.

Underrated game. The main menu always stuck out to me and its theme is one of the best tracks in the game.

It would be great if they would remake the older Hitman levels and bring them into the newer game.

while the world of assassination games have great gameplay and level design, they dont hold a candle to the atmosphere of the earlier games
