Did I get rip off or is that the norm to buy a single donut at your local bakery these days? What's the average price per donut in your area?

I went to the nearest donut place in my new town, and I've spent $10 for 4 donuts. They are pretty big at least, but I felt rip off. I'll eat two tonight and see how it is, it better be good.

That sounds about right. It's usually less per donut if you buy a dozen. Like the Krispy Kreme here charges $18 for a dozen glazed, which is $1.50 each. But it's $2.39 if you buy one.

Dang, that's a rip off considering Krispy Kreme is the bottom of the bottom tier donuts (it's like the McDonald's of donuts). In my old town, you spent $14.50 (10% off for mixed dozen) for a dozen donuts from a local award winning shop, and they throw in free donuts plus those glazed ball poppers.

I have a local grocery store that still makes them fresh and they are only 1.35 so I usually buy there.

Bro, one piece of Reese's buttercup is like 1.25 now too. Shits crazy right now. Thankfully I don't mind off brand shit so things are a little bit affordable.
