FF15 is kind of interesting because I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I absolutely know I would not like it on a repeat playthrough. The opposite of some of the other FFs, where my enjoyment improves with subsequent playthroughs. The combat system is just too ass and the game too long to endure again.

When I played FF13, I thought it SUCKED. But these days I get the feeling I would enjoy it a lot more. If I played it in bites, didn't take the VA and dialogue so seriously, and just took it for what it is and not what I wanted it to be, I may well enjoy it. They need to put it on SWITCH

Tomb Raider The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles.

Two utter stinking pieces of shit that killed my love for the franchise until Tomb Raider Legend rekindled it.

I enjoyed the game, its a good game its just the worst of the games Ive beaten. I enjoyed it enough to finish it, Ive not finished games I dont like or havent beaten gems I like. Do you understand what Im saying?

FFXIII and FFXV. Had to do it cause it was FF.and yeah will never play them again.

Both just bored me with the gameplay loop. If it wasnt FF, I probably would have dropped FFXIII at around chapter 10 I think, the seemingly endless dungeon/hallway before you get to Grand Pulse. Bored me to tears and the gameplay was not entertaining enough to play due to lack of variety (and the same enemy encounters). But I had to see how the story ended to see if it was good.it wasnt. Just as bad as the gameplay.

FFXV bored me once you figure out its impossible to die thus had no challenge to it. Would have dropped this also after Alticia leviathan fight, where all you do is hold A button and apparently beat a mid game boss that has 0 challenge to it. Again story was shit so should have dropped it.

The developer put a lot of effort into creating the fire system such a shame that none of that effort was put into the game. It is barely playable due to the bugs and technical issues. The first driving section is so broken that there is one part where the game has to be paused so the game can load the next section otherwise the player would fall into a bottomless pit.

Arkane did not handle this port, but this version is broken. Game can and would crash when loading/saving the game so keeping multiple save files is required. Especially since the game is barely stable and scripted events do not always activate, game could/would spawn invisible enemies, and the AI was flat out broken.

Tried to get all the canisters to unlock the secret character (ghost anakin), and the very final canister just glitched out of existence. Never came back, as the broken ass code apparently thought I already had it.

Fuck that game.

Probably Ultima IX: Ascension

Usually when a game is this bad I just quit playing it, so other contenders for "worst game I've ever played" aren't eligible. But I'd played the entire rest of the main Ultima series up to that point so I was determined to finish this one too.

In every aspect this game was a failure. From a technical aspect; it crashed all the time, it was riddled with bugs, the hit detection was horrible, audio would freeze, and it was horrifically laggy. From a story standpoint it completely butchered or straight up ignored the previous eight games in the series. Hell the opening cutscene directly contradicted the end of Ultima VIII. From a gameplay standpoint; the combat was weak, the animations were horrible, the side quests were awful (and this was a series known for convoluted side quests), and the world was about half the size of Ultima VII because the 3D graphics used up so much memory. The voice acting was also terrible though this was a bit more forgivable as voice acting in video games was still pretty bad in general in 1999 (that said, MGS was a million times better and came out a year earlier).

Me, my brother and my two nephews went through this entire jank-fest twin stick shooter on 4 players and actually beat it. It was glitchy as fuck (like, falling through the floor and dying glitchy) and unbalanced as hell with certain enemies, but we actually stuck through it all and finished it.

Going through a janky mess with a group of friends sounds like it could be fun if you are all laughing and poking out how bad it is.

Fallout New Vegas: I enjoyed this game, but playing through it was a hellish experience.

I'm dealing with this right now. At the point of no return, but about to tackle the DLC's. And its not the gameplay itself that is hellish, but rather the terrible PS3 version. So many places I haven't discovered or even entered by choice. Because of the terrible optimization, the game starts lagging and crashing after about an hour of play. Save file is currently about 8mb, I hear at 10mb it gets really bad and is basically game over once it hits 12mb. Highly doubt I'll ever play again to get the other 3 endings, just because of how annoying it is to shut-down/restart the game every hour or so.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of memories, I forced myself to actually play the full game last year and while I ended up enjoying myself more than I thought after learning how to properly abuse the card system, I still hate it as a whole

I remember having a bunch of shitty gamegear games I played waaay too much.

I cant remember most of them, but I remember the Jurassic Park game gear game was really bad but I played it a ton.

The sonic games on the other hand werent bad, but I didnt care for the gameplay that much.

FF15 I guess. It was short and uninteresting imo.

Console LEGO games have game breaking bugs as well. I remember having to restart my LEGO Jurassic World game 20 hours in because in one of the "open world" areas it thought I had gotten a gold brick I never got and no amount of resetting would fix it.

This is a really tough question, I think most truly shit games I played were rentals that I never beat. Checking my collection, it's probably Code of Princess.

Yea it was. I got it for free and loved me some classic sonic. I was so confused by the end as to why it was so much harder than I remember so I went back to the OG on Sonic Gems Collection (GCN) and then it hit: Genesis was made with the Sonic Advance engine, not the original. That.. was a bad idea.

Mate the Lego games have always been broken and unstable.

In one run through on Lego Marvel 1 my game froze up on me over 25 times (no exaggeration) and in Lego Star wars The Skywalker Saga in one Kyper Brick location on Geonosis I was getting this:

I contacted Warner Bros games and luckily they gave me a solution on how to fix it.

Yeah. I don't think I've ever made it through a Lego game without having to restart a level due to a glitch at least once.

Lego Games are always janky. It's just how it is.
