I had my breakfast sandwich and a handful of peanuts. Did I take four ibuprofen or not? I wouldn't want to double up on a maximum dose, but my back is killing me. (I've no idea why, really. I kinda rushed through my work on Friday, which would explain a slight burning, but it is like legitimately hurting.)

I guess there's no choice but to wait an hour and see if the pain is still there. If I'm still hurting, it means I didn't take any. I don't wanna OD on ibuprofen.

Maybe give it an hour or 2 and then ease into more if need be. Like, take one every hour or 2 after.

seems about right. that is the time in which it takes to work it's magic on pain.

my uncles co-worker is experiencing a back problem too. he was out for a week until he returned to light duty at work.

Yeah, over-the-counter strength. If I took four maximum strength prescription ibuprofen, I might be in trouble.

I'm thinking I didn't take it. I'll wait forty more minutes, then take four of them.

Try saying "Today is Sunday and I've taken my pills" when you have daily pills you can take. If you say it out loud it's easier to remember.

That's a pretty good idea, honestly.

I don't take ibuprofen routinely, though I do sometimes take acetaminophen for headaches. I might try that. Thanks.
