Or when Amy Adams drank kryptonite milkshakes that eventually caused her to eat people?

For some reason, I remember the cold open for this episode was the pizza boy being invited in to get naked in a hot tub before he was eaten alive by swarm of them.

There's also that scene in what was almost certainly season one where the fat chick gains the ability to absorb fat, but it also supercharges her metabolism to the point she unhinges her jaw and eats an entire deer she hit with her car. And when I looked this up just now, it turns out she's played by Amy fucking Adams who was Lois Lane in the DCEU movies.

They really wanted us to think he didn't go in that hay and have a foursome with those three witches smh

This was literally my reaction when I found out a few years ago. I remember thinking she was gorgeous just a little chunky and it was Amy Adams in a fat suit >_<

I also did more of a dive and you know that girl in the flash show and black sails, Jessica Parker Kennedy, she was also in Smallville way back when as another antagonist type character.

The first 4 seasons were crazy. Just every episode involved kryptonite somehow giving a group wacky powers.

After that, it started to lean on the more classic Superman mythology.

The first season leaned heavily into the whole "freak of the week" thing with the kryptonite, but after that the show started to get more serialized. As someone else said, Erica's Lois Lane was just what the show needed, she really Added a boost and was probably top 3 Lois lanes at the time

Smallville was into redhead erasure before redhead erasure was cool.
