It's been sitting in the corner of my room for the last 3-4 years tho. I'm so far behind on anything PC related so I don't even know if it still holds up well, I know the CPU itself bottlenecks the GPU. I remember buying the GPU thinking I'll continue to upgrade around it but never did. I think it's a fairly mid tier PC by now, and she's mostly playing things like Roblox and Fortnite @ 1080p. I mean, it saves us money and it's definitely still better than a lot of premade gaming PCs from Amazon.

I'm still sad to see it go, but I never use it anymore, I game on my PS5 or my work laptop. Back to the life of a peasant.

I bought the 1080 afterwards, I built it with an HD7970 then went to a 2xRX480 then to a 1070 to finally the 1080 lol

that's cool that it's getting some use once again though! i would have loved to have something capable of playing basic games growing up. i had a laptop (most of the time) which struggled with basic web browsing, haha.

pretty sure i had a very similar pc to you TC. I had the same CPU, I upgraded from a GTX 670 to a GTX 1080ti, and the rest was similar as well. I gave it to my neighbors kid last year though

I agree, when I was around her age all I had was a crappy Compaq persario my uncle gave me, utter junk. All she had was some $300 laptop her mom got as a gift 5 years ago. She's pretty happy lol and I bet that neighbor kid was too!

I feel like the i53570k CPU was fairly common back then.
