I'd pick Star Fox and make a sequel to Adventures then never make another entry in the series again.

F-Zero, except instead of a racing game its a dating sim

F-Zero but with more an emphasis on bounty hunting.

Except it's realistic bounty hunting and 90% of your targets are people who skipped out on bail.

I'd pick Star Fox. I'd return Fox's design to what it was in the 90s, red-orange fur and a long muzzle instead of the relatively flat-faced character. I'd introduce the cast from Star Fox 2 into the canon. I'd use Star Fox 64 as a template for how future Star Fox games should be made, but expand on it. Like, you might have a mission (an optional one) in which you can leave the ship and walk around a la Dinosaur Planet, but I wouldn't make the whole game like that.

I would allow Krystal and Katt (who would be pink, not gray) to maintain a peak appearance, but I wouldn't really harp on the whole furry aspect. The same goes for the guys that male-oriented furries tend to like -- like that panther dude whose name I can never remember.

Star Tropics reboot.

I'd also take HAMMER, the wii prototype game that never got developed. I'm gonna turn it into something idk. Throw another adult dating sim in it for good measure. Maybe make it a building game like Minecraft.

I'd pick star fox and turn it into a cartoon. So much more character and lore potential to expore there. As a game series I believe its already peaked way back in star fox 64, so anything new would be pointless.

I was going to say make Boy and his Blob 2, with the blob acting similar to spawns cloak, where it can take the shape of whatever the user feels like; but I realize now that the original wasn't made by Nintendo.

So I have to go with Wave Race.

If it counts, gimme creative control of the 2D Zelda series (the last new one was a decade ago), and make a Zelda 3 that's a direct sequel to Zelda 2 but with more refined side-scrolling combat and an utterly gargantuan open overworld.

I'd go with Golden sun I guess. The only jrpg turn based series I liked I would want to stay turn based.

I'd definitely want it to be higher budget though and have maybe a breath of the wild or ff xv open world though. Using psy powers to get around in a world like that would be fun

I feel like they could reboot Ice Climber as a roguelike platformer or something. Maybe something very similar to Spelunky.

My answer though is the Mario RPG series, since I think that's pretty much dead at this point. I think the ideal scenario would be making another Paper Mario game that follows the same format as the first two. But I'd also settle for the revival of either SMRPG or Mario and Luigi.

The panther's name was literally Panther

But yeah Miyu and Fay definitely need to be canon. Expanding the SF Team roster is needed at this point, anyway.

Not sure if Krystal still counts. I see her as being more freelance, like Katt.

Frankly, Nintendo should just scrap most of the Star Fox canon (Adventures, Assault, Command, etc) and pick up where Star Fox 2 left off.
(With Star Fox 64 being sort of a soft reboot of the first game, anyway)

Now that I think of it, a 'Rogue Squadron' style of Star Fox game would be awesome

Rather than a rail-shooter, it'd be more open with various objectives to fulfill. You could choose between the different characters and their Arwing types, like in SF2. Even have characters and ships you could unlock, like the Star Wolf team.

Granted, 'Assault' tried something similar, and wasn't too bad of a game imo.
