Looked them up and apparently they've been utilized by West Hollywood for almost 10 years and they're pretty much just security guards that patrol the city itself instead of being confined to a single location like how you'd normally see them at a store or bank. So these were never ever meant to engage armed criminals, they're always just done the security guard thing of providing information, breaking up fights, and reporting the more dangerous threats to the police. I don't see their point, but this is the city of West Hollywood, a town full of celebrity yuppies, so if they have the money then Idk. --- Who is?
