Yes, you can. Because of the SEC not doing its job and refusing to write and publish rules on what is and isn't a security for crypto and NFTs, they have to use gems in the app instead of fiat currency.

So currently, 1 gem = $1. However, each licensor has a selling fee (perpetual royalties), and the NFT company takes a small percentage as well. Thus, for example, the selling fee for any Disney stuff (including Star Wars, Pixar, etc.) is 8.5%.

So if I did sell the Eye for $690, I would net $631.35 while $58.65 would go to Disney and the NFT company.

To withdraw that $631.35, they currently charge 10%. So $631.35 becomes $568.22 net, which is the amount that would hit my bank.

The cash out fee is high, because they take a hit from Google and Apple taking something like 30% of every in app gem purchase. But they have their own website now, and they don't have to give them a cut of any gems purchased there. They've said they will eventually reduce the cash out fee, but this is their way to recoup some of that money they give to Google and Apple.

They are also working on implementing crypto to gem to let people buy gems with cryptocurrency as well.

$568.22 is more than the $207 I paid for it, and this is in a bear market lol.

This is the best NFT I own. It's first appearance of Spider-Man and the first Marvel or Disney NFT on any blockchain:

https://i.imgur.com/zaKNYUW.png

I paid 1,599 ($1,599) for it, but I got most of that by flipping other comics. One comic I bought for $7, I sold for $1,000. I then flipped my way up to as much of that 1,599 price as I could and paid $250 out of pocket for the rest. So I really only paid maybe about $275-ish for it. It's limited to 1,000 editions.

After I bought it for 1,599, this is what the price shot up to a few months later:

https://i.imgur.com/XkPlwV1.png

^Floor price of $12,500.00.

In January of 2022, when we were still in a bull market, the floor price shot up to $85,000 and later briefly touched $100,000:

https://i.imgur.com/Tgj3ZzQ.png

Even in this bear market, it's been hovering around $5.5k to about $8k. Not bad for something I paid $275-ish for.

XD

Yes, it depends on how patient I am of course for the higher priced items. If I floor the NFT and list it for at or below floor price, it'll probably sell. I just don't know how fast.

There are Twitter bots that track the sales, and they occasionally show the expensive ones being sold. There are whales who have spent hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars on these NFTs. Some of them hold several hundred of the grail pieces that everyone wants.

I'm not selling anything in this bear market. I don't need the money. I'll wait until at least the next real bull market.

As an example, I just looked at Twitter, and this guy just bought this Walt & Mickey NFT for 2,050 gems ($2,050):

https://i.imgur.com/0khBnIh.png

The company is working on a lot more features for the app that people have been waiting on, so they're still building in this bear market. One of those features is the ability to buy gems with crypto. Once that is implemented, people will be able to spend crypto to buy gems to buy these NFTs. They're also about to start beta testing their metaverse.
