The abduction stories are probably in some part true, but I do believe it was government related. they would drug people with dmt/whatever else the fuck they have and create ludicrous backstories that the people legitimately believed happened to them. If you think about it, were usually 20 or so years behind in regards to what tech the general population is able to interact with in comparison to the militarys advanced counterpart. Some of these people are either the best voice actors in the world, or they really did see and experience something. That's my opinion anyway.
