Age 14-26 I was a video game addict. Blew all my free time and money on games. Age 27 a switch flipped in my brain, they got boring and now I barely game anymore. Once in a blue moon after work to blow off steam. It wasn't all a waste obviously. I have lots of memories playing Co-op games where I bonded with my teammates, had good conversations and met nice people. Not to mention a lot single player games with rich stories that got me invested, helped get me through hard times and gave me some needed escapism. But at the end of the day, I could have done more productive things, grown more as a person If I just played team sports, worked out more, and tried a little harder in school. ... Eh its fine, your teenage years and 20s are just there to waste.
