This will be my 4th retry playing and trying to finish this game. This is a sluggish, boring and repetitive game and I usually like games like this too. I remember enjoying much of the original Wild Arms, Wild Arms 2 and Wild Arms 3. This game is just bad.

I mean, I do like somethings about this game but it's more annoying than fun but imma still finish it and get this out of my backlog once and for all.

on an actual disc or emulated?

This game did not age well but TBF a lot of JRPGs like these did not. Thankfully save states, fast forward button and cheat codes bring a great QoL to these type of games.

Still trucking through. Just got to the arena and it's really hard here. Majority of the game is easy if you just grind and get the MP Restore skill. Also maxing out Rudy's Gatling Gun and his bullets to his regular gun makes him a boss killer.

All these side quests opened to me and they're more of a chore than anything else, and the game already feels like a chore. Fuck it, just gonna grab the OP stuff and spearhead through the game now.
