As someone who, when I still played Dota 2 that was my biggest complaint and I since haven't gone back to League.....I'm ok with it not being there. Or I did, and this was back before Dark Willow was released so I'm scared yo see how bad I am now But then again I don't remember the learning curve to be as much of a wall as some people say. AUS is absolutely dead, and if it's SEA/USE/USW/EUW/EUE, then it might be that it's having a hard time getting you a match because you're so new.
