They are now attempting to kill off democracy before their main voter base dies. If they can take control while the boomers are still around, it won't matter once they die off. This is a long process and and there are always other factors that can slow things down or make them move sideways. Also don't think it's impossible for them to rule with a small minority. Things are already rigged in their favor a lot, and if competent Republicans get enough power they very well could turn the USA into another apartheid. --- And who are you, my little friend? They could become the New conservative party and the liberal party could be a new one. Maybe just call it Progressive Party. There you go. Dems and Progs would run the country and America would finally shift more to the left I do think we should have several parties though like most countries.
