I worked there for six months between jobs and it was a blast.

I remember my mom getting so mad at me because I refused to apply at places like McDonald's and Wendy's. It was mostly because I didn't trust myself cooking food for random people when I didn't even know how to cook at the time, lol.

Coulda worked at Olive Garden.

I did, and I hated it. Started looking for a new job right away. The rush hours were hell and customers were sooooo stupid.

Here's an exchange I watched unfold during a busy morning shift:

Co-worker: "We're out of coffee, but we're brewing more. Are you okay with waiting for about 2 minutes?"
Customer: "That's fine. I'll wait."

*15 seconds later*

Customer: "Why is my coffee taking so long? This is going to make me late for work!"
Co-worker: "It's still brewing. You can see it from where you're standing."

*Customer looks at coffee pot that's still actively brewing*

Customer: "There's enough in that pot for my coffee, just pour some now."
Co-worker: "I can't do that while it's still brewing."
Customer: "Well I'm just going to cancel my order then."

Just imagine that stupidity, multiple times per day
