Yes, and so does Herb. However, the monkey Herb threw in looked exactly like female Ranma. Also, in the final arc of the manga series, Kiema drowned and resuscitated Akane in a blank Juusenkyo spring to create a "Spring of Drowned Akane" to trick Ranma.
