They've ran tests to confirm diagnosis and it's not looking like leukemia or lymphoma. They don't have a definitive answer right now. The current thought is she has a super rare genetic disorder but nothing definite yet. If they're right it's perfectly treatable and I'll take perfectly treatable over cancer treatments for that little girl.

Yes it does. Once they nail it down they'll either move her to another hospital in Memphis or go all the way to st Louis. Other than that we're back to playing the waiting game.

As a Saint Louisan I cam tell you that our Children's Hospitals here are very good. Some of the best in the country actually. So you can at least rest assured that if she comes here she'll be well taken care of.

I made a new topic about it but they diagnosed her with gaucher's disease. The ELI5 version is her body is lacking what it needs to reliably and regularly produce blood cells.
