Mario is approaching 1 billion, and while I haven't seen it yet so can't judge it, you just know more are going to be announced to cash in, especially with superhero movies seeming to lost popularity.

I can't wait to see the garbage movie they make from the already garbage Marvel Avengers game

As long as the Legend of Zelda movie doesn't have a voice for Link.

Can't be worse than the previous era of video game movies. Studios are finally realizing that you don't have to drastically change the source material to make audiences happy.

Most of us want to see faithful adaptations of our favorite characters. That's really all it is.

given the success of The Last of Us adaptation and this, i hope it encourages studios to step their game up when adapting videogames to movies.

think we had enough of shitty adaptations... lol

You say this but the reality is the average product will be just as bad but FAR more common

Imagine the competent teams at Amazon getting their hands on stealth games. Or John wick or Tom cruise getting deus ex. Pretty excited ngl

I've avoided Jack Ryan just because I could never get into Clancy, I ahould try it. Been meaning to watch Reacher, though I also loved the first Cruise movie

I'm fine with it so long as they adapt the game story properly. A lot of video games actually have interesting stories and don't need to be drastically changed like the Resident Evil movies were.

I saw the Mario movie and it was a lot of fun. Chock full of references
