Cop shows really hate people asking to see a warrant. I love Law and Order I think I have talked about it here before. And I have noticed this got worse as the seasons went on. By the time Anthony Anderson came to the show.

They were bulling innocent people. Like they were at a press office. And they guy was being civil with them. And the cops were like we need to see all your files and he was like I need see a warrant. And cops were like if we have to do that we might just have to take a extra long time to search and you might have to stop printing for a few days.

Then in the same episode. They got into a house because someone's hook up gave them permission to search. Knowing good and well he didn't really live there. And like this one was dumb since they just could have called for one.

And Law and Order is one of the better one's. Chicago PD. That is just the worst. Civil Liberties what the fuck are those.

Police shows really lean hard on the "loose cannon" trope a lot of the time. Their captain will pull them aside and give them shit, the lawyers will talk about how improper the search was, etc.

It adds little branches into the story. If everything was done by the book there'd be no #Drama
